All schools in the Mountain View School District will dismiss at 12:30pm tomorrow Thursday January ninth in anticipation of the approaching winter weather. This timing should ensure safe transportation of students and allow families time to plan ahead. If the weather arrives earlier than anticipated, we will adjust as necessary.

Good morning! This is a friendly reminder for students to bring a filled water bottle to school today. Let's have a great Tuesday!

MV Parents: Please send a full water bottle with your child to school each day this week. Out of an abundance of caution, we are having our water tested to confirm that it is safe to use as drinking water after a water pipe incident near the MV campus occurred this weekend. The drinking fountains on MV campuses will not be accessible until the test results are back later this week. In the meantime, please send a bottle of water with your child to school. Thank you for your help!

The Mountain View School District would like to extend a big thank you to every person and business that participated in our recent supply drive by donating time, items, and/or money toward filling the Preparedness Bags with personal hygiene supplies. These bags are to help students in case of unexpected needs and have been distributed to all three campuses in the Mountain View School District. Sending a shout out to Liz Larson for making the cute bags to hold the items, Stone Bank for accepting to be the donation drop off point, Stone County Community Centered for facilitating the drop off point, preparing the bags, as well as buying supplies, and to the former Save the Children Community Impact Lead, Chelsea Jones, for coming up with the idea to help with children’s individual needs and for handing out the items. Thanks again for all your help. We live in a wonderful county who always supports our students!
