
Friday, April 2 will be a Blended Learning Day in the Mountain View School District with the following exceptions: Mountain View Elementary will follow normal schedule and all students attendance is required, Mountain View Middle and Mountain View High School attendance is mandatory for students with any grade currently below a 70%. All other students in middle and high school can choose to log into their classes via their Chrome books on Google classroom or attend in person. Meals for next weeks distance learners will be distributed at the following times and locations: Mountain View Middle and High School at the teardrop from 9 AM until 11:30 AM. Rural Special High School and Rural Special Elementary School will begin ACT Aspire testing on Monday, April 5. Testing for RES and RSHS through Thursday, April 7. ONLY Virtual RSES students will test Thursday April 8.

Today Gov. Asa Hutchinson officially lifted the mask mandate in the state of Arkansas. Therefore, beginning tomorrow, March 31, the Mountain View School District will no longer require masks to be worn while at school or on a school bus. Please note that some students and staff may continue to wear a mask if they so choose. Personal choice will be respected.

In addition to the weekly meals, the Mountain View School Pantry will be distributing meal boxes at the Mt. View Kindergarten building from 9AM-11:30 AM Friday. Boxes will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

The Mountain View School District will dismiss at Noon on Thursday, March 18 so that students and staff may go to the Class A state final game at 4 P.M. that day in Hot Springs. The Rural Special Lady Rebels will play Norfork High School in the championship game.
Lunch will be served that day and buses will run. This half a day will be made up at a later date.
